Forest Issues Working Group


FIWG’s have two primary purposes:

1. To address the conversion of forest lands to other land uses and to mitigate the rapidly eroding natural heritage, economic vibrancy, water quality, and life support systems that forest conversions cause.
   
   
2. To promote forest health through improved opportunities and best practices for management of forested lands”
